Ed Sheeran shares a unique reason behind his decision to stop using a phone since 2015.
The British musician revealed that he ceased phone usage in 2015 but continues to use an iPad for work-related emails.
Ed Sheeran explained that whenever he needs to make a call, he relies on borrowing phones from friends and family. He gave insight into his choice to discontinue phone use.
He mentioned an incident where he was talking to a friend who abruptly lost focus due to a phone notification.
He also noted that he noticed himself frequently distracted by phone messages even during conversations with his father, leading him to decide to break the phone habit.
He further mentioned that he communicates with others, but prefers to do so through emails and text messages, especially on Sundays.
